Introducing…

Introducing Herzhund Blaze of Glory (aka Blaze) the latest addition to the K9 Pro family!

For those of you who have been following the progress of our B Litter pups, Blaze was formerly known as Pink Girl.

It has been over 8 years since I’ve had a baby puppy in the house, so to say I am excited about my latest addition is definitely an understatement.

I am now counting down the days until the pups are ready to ‘fly the coup’ and head off to their new families,  although I am in an extremely lucky position as I get to spend a lot of time with the pups already! As I work for Steve I have been heavily involved in the upbringing and rearing of our B Litter.

I have known Blaze since the moment she was born and have been able to watch her develop alongside her brother and sisters. Of course, I didn’t know which pup would be mine until this week when Steve made the call: “I think it’s Pink, Becky!”

I don’t envy Steve having to make a decision on where these pups go, as they are all so outstanding I could have closed my eyes and picked one at random and I would have been delighted with whoever I ended up with.

Over the past few years I have been working with Steve I have been preparing myself and honing my training skills for the time when I bring my next puppy home. I’ve assisted with temperament testing litters, helped to raise our Malinois litters, assisted Steve in puppy training consults and classes with clients and more.

Suffice to say I am very excited to start a new training journey with a brand new puppy!

I will be posting a regular blog series all about raising a puppy so I can track my progress with Blaze, and share some insight into Steve’s puppy raising program.
